Catalina 25 swing keel, 9.9 4stroke outboard, galvanized dual axle trailer
I have spent much of my winter reconditioning her by: 1. A complete bottom job including fairing the swing keel and redoing the pivot pin which is now in great condition (it was not bad when I dropped the keel)
Filled all divits and blisters with West System fairing compound, put 3 coats of epoxy barrier coat and painted with West Marine black Bottom Shield.
This included fairing the rudder.
2. Boat was polished and waxed, inside cleaned including all cushions, compartments and equipment.
3. The galvanized trailer was serviced with new tires last summer, new bearing last week, and brakes serviced last week. These are surge brakes on the front axle. It is ready to travel.
4. The 2006 9.9 HP Mercury long shaft outboard motor was also serviced with new impeller, lower unit oil, engine oil, and new spark plugs, starts very nicely and runs well.
The boat features include:
-Pop-top with white material surround snap on cover making for a enclosed cabin with 7'+ head room when up, about 5'6" when down
-2006 Mercury 9.9 hp 4 stroke outboard with long shaft serviced in the past 6 weeks. This motor has very low hours and has only been used in fresh water, never salt water.
