1973 Bristol 27 Sailboat
For sale is a Bristol 27 ready to sail...once the ice melts. The boat is currently located in the Lower Hudson River Valley of New York.
As noted by http://bluewaterboats.org/bristol-27/, the Bristol 27 can be considered a well-proven blue water boat. The Carl Alberg design is inherently seaworthy. Well prepped, this boat is easily capable of offshore work. It reflects the Scandinavian Folkboat influence of the day: narrow with long overhangs, graceful low-slung sheerlines, and a sweeping full keel that is cut away in the forefoot. This boat features the original Dinette Model configuration and will sleep 4-5 persons. Roller furling. Main and fore sails and running and standing rigging are all in serviceable to good condition. Anchor. Working Volvo diesel engine. Two-burner stove, sink, icebox. Cushions for settee and quarter berth. Two batteries. Porto Potty. Storage paid until summer launch.
