  Description

Wampler Plextortion Distortion Pedal
A distortion pedal originally designed to emulate a JCM800 with celestion greenbacks (Back in Black era, AC/DC tones through Van Halen, Dokken, Ratt and all those amazing 80's rock "cranked Marshall" tones).   It has a very brown sounding distortion ... a bit similar to the pinnacle pedal, from what I have read.
This has seen limited use
&
sounds amazing through a tube amp
.. especially at louder volumes ..

  • High grade film capacitors & resistors picked for their superior sound
  • Completely true bypass
  • Ultra-bright LED for ease of use
  • Battery connection and 9V power jack (barrel plug like Boss)
  • Purple/black/silver sparkle in color
  • 5 knobs:  Gain, Volume, Bass, Treble, Mids
  • 2 switches:  Gain Boost (3 levels), Brightness (3 levels)
