This is an old Vintage Autoharp (Zither) -  as it does not have the chord bar mechanism, it has place for 31 strings but 3 are missing. I have included a picture of the stamp info, Rex Autoharp, The Best For Tone, Manufactured by R. S. Williams and Sons Co. LTD. Toronto, Canada. This Autoharp is  over 100 years old. Please see pictures.
