This very nice and rare Art Deco Piano Shawl or Cover would have been manufactured around the 1920's.

It measures90" long. The central tassles measure 42", 2 measure 40" and the other two measure 35".

The fabric is a deep blue velvet which has been heavily embroidered onto with multicolored silk threads.The lining is pink silk.The shawl is trimmed in a bright yellow thread.

All the embroidery on the blue velvet is in very good condition. The yellow trim has some frayed sections but nothing serious, just standard wear and tear. The pink silk lining also shows quite a bit of wear. All in all this is a beautiful piece, nicely hand embroidered and displays well.
