Well, just what is it?  Simply put, a MIDI arpeggiator.  Feed notes in from a keyboard or sequencer and it arpeggiates them.  The beauty is how it does that and the amount of control you have over it.  Face it - the Oberheim folks were a smart bunch.  This simple box blows away many hardware sequencers in what it can produce.  Do a simple google search and download the manual and read through it.

This Cyclone is running the last OS (1.2) and includes a hardcopy of the manual plus a 9v adapter.  I've tested it out and it's working fine.  Note that I don't have any footswitches, so I was only able to test the MIDI aspects of it.

I ship worldwide.  The Cyclone weighs about 5 lbs boxed up and measures about 12" x 10" x 6"

 Q: Hello, how do you know that software version 1.2 is the last version? Just wondering. I was sure there was a 2.0 out there for this thing. Thanks.
A: It shows 1.2 on power up. There was never a higher OS released for it. In fact, if you can find a higher OS, I'll happily burn it to EPROMs and put it in both this Cyclone and the one I'm keeping.
