Other cages use plastic zip ties to attach the entire cage. Rabbits and guinea pigs love to chew on the ties which may present a choking hazard. If they chew enough, the cage may even fall apart or you'll be replacing ties every few days. Well, not with the Qwik-Set System. This cage is assembled with tight, large, super strong, industrial metal rings. Impossible to chew through!! Yes, you will need to use a few plastic ties to attach the hay racks, but the main cage is done with the metal rings.

Please note: Babies, very young or very small guinea pigs, and pregnant mothers require some temporary additional height on the sides of the cage. In addition, any wire hay rack should be used with caution with very small guinea pigs.
