WHEN WILL YOU ANSWER MY INQUIRY?

We answer emails Monday through Friday and strive to answer all inquires
within 24 hours. Weekend emails are answered on Mondays.

WHAT PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?

We only accept PayPal at this time.

CAN YOU COMBINE SHIPPING ON MULTIPLE ORDER ITEMS ?

We can not offer discounts on multi-order shipments. We try to offer
the lowest prices on the net for all of our used books.
The shipping and handling charge is the minimum we can charge and still
offer a level of service that you will be happy with.  We hope you
recognize the value and place your multi-item orders with Look at a
Book.

DO YOU HAVE FURTHER INFORMATION ABOUT THIS PRODUCT?

We try to grade each product in our inventory accurately and
consistently. We have several full time staff members employed to
grade and describe our products. We will often not have additional information available.

We use the following industry standards:
Guidelines for New and Used Books items:
New

Just like it sounds, A brand-new, unused, unread copy in
perfect condition.

Like New

An apparently unread copy in perfect condition. Dust cover
is intact; pages are clean and are not marred by notes or folds of any
kind. This is Suitable for presenting as a gift.
Very Good

A copy that has been read, but remains in excellent
condition. Pages are intact and are not marred by notes or
highlighting. The spine remains undamaged.
Good

A copy that has been read, but remains in clean condition. All
pages are intact, and the cover is intact (including dust cover, if
applicable). The spine may show signs of wear. Pages can include
limited notes and highlighting, and the copy can include "From the
library of" labels.
Acceptable

A readable copy. All pages are intact, and the cover is
intact (the dust cover may be missing). Pages can include considerable
notes--in pen or highlighter--but the notes cannot obscure the text.
Unacceptable

Moldy, badly stained, or unclean copies are not
acceptable, nor are copies with missing pages or obscured text. Books
that are distributed for promotional use only are prohibited. This
includes advance reading copies (ARCs) and uncorrected proof copies.


WHAT SHIPPING METHODS DO YOU OFFER?

We ship exclusively with the UNITED STATES POST OFFICE.  We currently
participate in several programs available to large mailers that help
get our shipments to our customers faster.  These include bypassing
our local post office and sending your orders direct to regional
distribution centers, using barcodes on our shipping labels and
conforming to USPS standards on our packaging and labels.


WHEN CAN I EXPECT MY ORDER TO ARRIVE?

Shipping Policy – Standard Shipping is via USPS Media Mail. Please
allow up to 21 business days for delivery.

Expedited Shipping is via USPS Priority Mail. And offers free tracking. Please allow up to 6 business days for arrival.

Overseas shipments are handled by an international mail broker improving delivery times to
typically 15-20 business days.


DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY, TO PO BOXES, AFO/FPO ADDRESSES?

Yes, we ship internationally, to PO boxes and APO/FPO address.

DO YOU SHIP ON THE WEEKEND?

We ship every day the United States Post Office will pick up and
deliver mail. As such we do not ship on Sundays or USPS Holidays.

CAN YOU OFFER SATURDAY, SUNDAY OR HOLIDAY DELIVERY?

We can only offer Saturday delivery as provided by the USPS

WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY

Any defects, damages, or material differences with
your item, must be reported to us within 7 days of receipt of the item
or 30 days from date of shipment.

The returned merchandise must be postmarked within 30 days of the
shipment notification. Non-deliveries must be reported within 30 days
of Shipment Notification. Undeliverable, unclaimed, refused, or
insufficient addresses will be subject to a 20% restocking fee plus
the cost of shipping.
