Our policy is to ship all orders within 48 hours from receiving a cleared payment. Shipping days are the days our carriers accept shipments. Saturdays, Sundays and holidays taken by our carriers are not considered shipping days.
CDs and DVDs are shipped by USPS First Class Mail to both domestic and foreign addresses. In some cases USPS Priority Mail may be used. If you have not received your purchase in 10 business days from when you purchased it, please contact us at curioandwhatnotshop@comcast.net If you have any concerns or issues at all regarding your order, please contact us. We try to answer all e-mail within 24 hours. A satisfied customer is our MOST IMPORTANT asset.
INTERNATIONAL BUYERS PLEASE NOTE:
- Shipping time to addresses outside the U.S. may be longer than U.S. domestic shipping due to distance, customs delays, etc. We have no control over this.
- Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility.
- Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying.

CD ROM & DVD ROM RETURN POLICY:
Like any other seller of media, we do not offer refunds on disks. Our disks are guaranteed to contain the items as described in our listings. If you should get a defective disk, we will promptly and gladly exchange it for another of the same title and reimburse you the return shipping charge through PayPal. We want you to be satisfied with your experience with The Curio And Whatnot Shop. Please contact us before returning a disk so we may ascertain that the issue is the disk and not something else such as a codec or configuration issue as sometimes happens. We are willing to assist you with any difficulties you may have with our disks.
Please note that our digital libraries are CD-ROM and DVD-ROM disks. they are not standard CDs and DVDs and will not play in a standard CD or DVD player, they are strictly meant for use in a computer. If you purchase disks under the impression that they will play in a standard CD or DVD player, you cannot return them for a refund. It is the buyer's responsibility to read and understand the listings. Under no conditions will a buyer receive any refund because they do not understand that these disks do not play in a standard CD or DVD player. Our digital libraries work under Win9X, ME, 2000, XP, Vista as well as on Macintosh systems. We guarantee they will work and are willing to render assistance if you are having any difficulties. In well over a thousand disks, we have found only two to be defective and needed to be replaced. Because of the various types of document and multimedia files in our digital libraries, it is the buyer's responsibiltiy to be willing to install Adobe reader and other necessary software such as djvu, media players, codecs, etc, on their computer on order to be able to open the files in these digital libraries. Under no conditions may a buyer return a digital library for a refund because they are unwilling to install these programs or answer questions that would let us assist them determine what issues might be affecting their digital library. This has happened only once in over a thousand sales, and I was subjected to feedback extortion so I feel it is necessary to state this policy explicitly. |

WHAT YOU GET
This digital library from The Curio and Whatnot Shop comes shpped to you in a sturdy shipping onvelope and the disks are packaged in white windowed paper envelopes.
These disks are CD-ROMs and DVD-ROMS and will not play in a standard CD or DVD player, they are meant to be played in a computer. These disks to not play automatically upon insertion. Each file on a disk must be opened individually with a file manager such as Windows Explorer. Our disks are Mac compatible, we have many Mac customers purchasing our disks.
OUR GUARANTEE
Our digital libraries have been successfully purchased and used on Win9x, ME, 2000, Vista and Mac operating systems. Our disks work. If you get a bad disk, we will gladly replace it and rerimburse the shipping through paypal. Refunds are not granted for our digital libraries. Each listing gives complete details about the library. The purchaser is responsible for reading the listing and understanding what they are purchasing.
SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS
Certain programs must be installed on your computer on order for the documents and multimedia files to open, they are all free programs and easily available on the internet. Below are download links. If you have any problems with this contact us, we will gladly help you.
DOCUMENT FILES
Most of the document files on our digital library disks are .pdf files which require free Adobe reader. You can download the free Adobe reader here. Some are djvu format which also requires a free reader which can be downloaded here.
MULTIMEDIA FILES
Multimedia files come in many varieties and can be problematic at times. This is often due to a codec issue. Multimedia codec packs for XP and Vista are available for free downloading on the highlighted links. Many times all that is needed is for the file extension to be associated with your media player. We are not aware of any issues with Macs, we have satisfied customers who are using our disks on Macs. For flv (flash video) files, the Sothink player is excellent and can be downloaded for free here.
If you have any difficulty with a disk you receive from us, please contact us at curioiandwhatnotshop@comcast.net. You will receive a prompt reply and personal attention.
Please note that if you are unable to open files on this disks are are unwilling to answer questions that will allow us to assist you or install the freely available programs necessary to do so, you will not be granted a refund. I know this seems absurd, but it happened once in over a thousand transactions, so I feel I must state it explicitly. While we guarantee our digital libraries, we cannot configure your computer for you. We are willing to assist you with any difficulties you may have with our digital libraries.
