Hi, this auction is for a miniature (22 inch) nicleback banjo. From the case, i would say it dates around 1920's to 1930's. The banjo itself is in perfect condition, with a full set of strings and a hardwood bridge. The nuts clamps and back are all nickel plated in good order throughout, no damage. The tuning pegs are in bakelite with brass tension screws. The sound is very much better than expected with a bright, loud tone, deceptively fine. The case is in good condition, no structural damage, some age related rubs and the nap inside is worn etc. Both latches and the handle are sound. There is no makers mark that i can see.
