These iMacs have a common problem with the graphics chip connections breaking down.

We specialize in repairing G5 iMacs. We are so confident that our repairs will last longer than our competitors that we offer a 7-month warranty on them, which can only be voided if you have had the item apart and damaged it or if you leave bad feedback.

If you are not sure if your computer is the type we repair.

The plastic on the iMac should all be white.
Look at the label on the pedestal and verify that it says G5 and from 1.6 GHz to 2.1 GHz.

Prices.

The price of this auction is a flat rate of whatever the auction sells for.

For this price the iMac can be in a several pieces or all together so long as you send in all the main components.
(Please package them carefully.)

If your iMac has a damaged screen or a bad hard drive then the flat rate might not apply to them. If your iMac has one of these exceptions then let us know and we will quote you a price and set up an auction specifically for your iMac.

If the optical drive is bad we will replace it with a combo drive or better.
If the logic board is beyond repair we will replace it with one that is similar.

Shipping

You pay to ship to us. Then if you live anywhere in the 50 states of the US the return shipping is free.

If you pay through PayPal the computer will be shipped back to the address in your PayPal account.
It is the buyers responsibility to keep their eBay and PayPal address up to date.

We recommend that you use your original iMac box from Apple if you still have it. Otherwise mail the computer using a box that is about 12" by 24" by 24" box for a 20" iMac or a 12" by 20" by 21" box for a 17" iMac. We require delivery confirmation or signature confirmation. You may also want to use insurance.

Your Mac will be returned in the same box you send in unless it is larger than necessary or it seems unsafe to use.

Turn around time is usually just over a week from the time we get it until we mail it back to you. If we have to order any parts it may take longer.
