Mint: Substantially like new.

Excellent: Very little or no evidence of use or wear. May have slight yellowing or other insignificant imperfections (a small signature, slight invisible taping, etc.).

Very Good: Evidence of use; may have some imperfections such as yellowing, minor surface and edge wear, light staining, invisible taping, etc.

Good: Shows moderate use, invisible taping and/or wear, and more frequent handling.

Fair: Has major flaws (considerable invisible or regular scotch taping, signatures and or marks), but is still playable. Shows heavy use/wear.

Poor: Significant wear. May be missing margin portions of the piece, but the music will not be affected and will still be playable. May include some or all defects mentioned above
