Upright Bass Pickup

I've been carrying this relatively new pickup for several months now, and word on the street is good. Many players have praised its "mic-like" sound, and it's got a unique "fine-tuning" feature which gives you more flexibility in the pursuit of the sound you're after.

The clever design puts tiny transducers within a high-quality aluminum bridge adjuster wheel, which is a direct replacement for the wheels on the bridges I sell (visit my other auctions for adjustable bridges, or - if you like - I can add a bridge, minus its original adjusters, to your winning bid for an additional $49. Contact me for arrangements).

Plug in the Full Circle and the sound of your upright is all there. Whether it’s big, fat and punchy pizz, full-voiced arco or rockin’ slap, you’ll hear all the acoustic qualities, dynamics, and nuances of your bass - only louder.

Encased inside a sturdy aluminum height adjuster wheel, the Full Circle offers accurate, transparent sound. To match the pickup to your instrument and playing style, a fine-tuning feature lets you quickly choose between an open, resonant response or a drier and more focused amplified tone.

The Full Circle is a quick retro-fit on instruments with 1/4-20 thread height adjustment wheels. (We will supply, by default, the 1/4 version but the metric version can be specified by the winner.) A preamp is recommended, but not required.

This pickup system is being offered for sale by Bob Gollihur of Gollihur Music, an authorized Fishman dealer, so the full warranty applies on this brand new pickup! Please let me know if you have any questions. All pickup orders come with complete instructions PLUS a special insert I've written, which includes installation advice and tips for getting the most out of your pickup. There are also comments on effectively evaluating your sound and fighting the feedback monster if it rears its ugly head.
