You are bidding on expert travel advice. I have been living in Tokyo, Japan for 6 years as an English teacher and computer programmer. I have climbed Mt. Fuji, visited several ryokan (traditional Japanese inns), and toured more temples & shrines than I can count. I've also gained a unique cultural perspective and many insights through conversations with my Japanese students.

I am willing to share all of my experience with you. Coming to Japan on vacation, or thinking about moving here? Not confident about using the Japanese public transportation system? If I don't know the answer, I will do the research for you. I'll find good web sites you might want to take a look at. I'll provide detailed instructions for your trip. I'll recommend books that might be good for you. And I'll bring to bear all my years of accumulated wisdom to answer your Japan questions in the best possible way.

So here's how it works:

Being the high bidder on this auction gives you the right to ask me up to 5 questions about Japan. If you have more questions than that, we can negotiate an extra fee for answering them. Once I have received your payment, I will ask you to send me your questions via e-mail. I will respond to your questions within 1-2 business days. Please note that there will be no refunds, and you don't get to ask any follow-up questions unless they are directly related to my answers (such as if you didn't understand something I wrote).

E-Bay feedback will be given after you have left feedback for me.

You get what you pay for!

The amount of effort I put into answering your questions is directly proportional to how much you are paying me. If you pay the full Buy It Now price, you'll get an hour of my time and I will go all out with writing very detailed answers and doing extra research if necessary. If your winning bid is for $5, expect only half an hour of my time and less detailed answers. A $0.50 winning bid would give you very brief, one or two sentence answers and no extra research. So if you want good, quality answers, please bid higher so it's worth my while to help you!
