EVENING GLOW - Painted by A. SPENCER - British Artist . .....Looks to me like Hudson Valley Painters.

New information:

Spencer, Augustus ARCA (London)
1860 - 1924
"Painter and art teacher. Born on 18th April 1860 at Silsden in
Yorkshire. Studied at Keighley School of Art, and at the R.C.A. from
1881. He was Headmaster of the Coalbrookdale School of Art from 1885,
Headmaster of Leicester School of Art from 1888, and Principal of the
R.C.A. 1900-1920. Died on 3rd October 1924."

This is an LARGE Oil on Canvas, and is/was Painted by British Artist Augustus Spencer, I bought this fine Painting from an Estate Sale here in Toronto, I just loved the Suns Glow as it sets in this one, and I thought it was done by a British Painter, but when I got it Home I noticed the canvas was American (but it is British).......... . A very decorative lovely Oil Painting.

He/She Signed it in the lower right corner-.

Measurements: 32 inch x 42 inch (framed), 26 inch x 36 inch (canvas only).

NOTE: FOR SHIPPING TO USA, I will have to ship UPS Ground since the post office will not accept this Large Parcel. I will prepay the shipping, but I have been told UPS might charge you a small fee for Brokerage when they deliver-that one is not my responsibility.!!!!!
