This is a Vintage DeArmond Model 1300 magnetic-type pickup that has been installed on a 21-Key AutoHarp made by Harmony Harp. It far exceeds the performance of any of the contact-type microphones, and it has easy to access fingertip Volume and Tone controls, featuring a quick-disconnect 10 foot amp cable. The autoharp's 21 keys all operate as they should, with instant return to their home postion when unpressed, and I have found the DeArmond pickup to be very responsive with a strong 8.60 K output rating on my multimetre. This pickup is also a real bonus when one faces the chore of having to tune all those 36 strings on this vintage instrument, as all you have to do is plug the 1/4" male output plug of the amp cord into your chromatic digital tuner and adjust the tension of each string upwards or downwards accordingly, with the special tuning wrench that is also supplied. As a special incentive for someone to activate my Buy-It-Now price for this autoharp with DeArmond pickup, I will include the KORG model CA-20 chromatic digital tuner, and the adjustable leather strap with the shipment of this autoharp at no additional cost to the Buy-It-Now bidder. It will be sent along with the top of the line autoharp hard shell case as seen in the photos listed above. This case appears to be custom made to cradle this Harmony Harp, which I think was made in Japan or Korea, as the logo is similar to the original Harmony guitar headstock logos after they moved offshore from the USA.
Please NOTE: Be sure to request a shipping cost before you enter any bids, including a Buy It Now bid, as the S+H cost to ship this by Canada Post XPRESSPOST Air Mail to the USA is around $60.00, Including Tracking and delivery confirmation, but almost twice that amount to continental Europe, and even more again to Australia and Japan.
The last picture added to the photo array also shows another type of autoharp with a ChromAlin label on it. Please contact me if you know what this upright model with 24 strings and 15 keys is correctly called, as it is more guitar-like when it is held to be played. I've got extra DeArmond model 1300 pickups, but they don't fit on this model, as the angle of the pickup does not match the string layout. Thank You for looking.
