This great playing Rampone & Cazzani soprano sax mouthpiece has been lovingly customized by Dave Jary of Jary Custom Saxophone Mouthpiece. This is a composite mouthpiece with a bullet style baffle that has been custom modified to produce a very big, rich core sound with excellent power and volume without sounding thin or harsh. The level of projection could be compared to a #2 hard rubber Berg Larsen chamber.This is a versatile sound that is excellent for just about any style of music from Fusion, to Pop, to Smooth and Main Stream Jazz. This mouthpiece has a sweet playing custom .069" tip opening and facing combination that provides incredibly free reed vibration and GREAT response in all registers. The response is precise and even from top to bottom. The highs and lows are very strong and it is not stuffy or resistant. The altissimo and partials are great and you will love experimenting with all of the sounds in this range. The inner sidewalls are straight which adds focus and intensity to the sound.
