This is a rare opportunity for you to own an ORIGINAL, one-of-a-kind painting by musician Chris Cummings.  All proceeds from the sale of this painting will go to The Kidney Foundation of Canada so that the Foundation can continue to fund much needed kidney research and improve the lives of people living with kidney disease.

 With his rich baritone vocal style, singer/songwriter Chris Cummings emerged during the late 1990s as a performer in the mold of contemporary country's New Traditionalist movement.  A native of Norton, NB, he made his public singing debut at the age of five, and was a local sensation throughout his childhood years.  At 14, he self-released a cassette which made its way to the Nashville offices of Warner/Reprise president Jim Ed Norman, who felt he showed enormous potential; it also caught the ear of California businessman, Peter Leggett, who offered the teen a summer residency performing at the Pasadena Club; the Western Connection. With Leggett's assistance, Cummings recorded a new and improved demo; it too landed on Norman's desk, and finally the label head contacted the young singer, who was called out of a high school math class to accept the phone call from Reprise's Nashville offices.

The Kidney Foundation of Canada is the national volunteer organization committed to reducing the burden of kidney disease through:

• funding and stimulating innovative research;
• providing education and support;
• promoting access to quality healthcare; and
• increasing public awareness and commitment to advancing kidney health and organ donation

Please note our shipping and handling charges.  We will try our best to ship to you within 3 business days of receiving your payment.  However, we are a charity operating with a small staff and volunteers, so it may take up to a week to ship your painting.  Paypal is the preferred payment method, although we will accept credit card over the phone for Canadian purchasers.  If you are local to Fredericton, New Brunswick and would prefer to pick your painting up in person at our office, please message us and we will not charge for shipping.  Local pick-ups can pay by cash. 

Our preferred shipping method is through UPS at the excellent rates indicated ($12 anywhere in Canada, $20 anywhere in the USA using UPS Express Saver).  However, if you would prefer a different method of shipping, please message us.  We want to make your experience as easy as possible and we are pleased to ship using the method you prefer.
