There was no sweeter place for Arsenal to win the first half of the league and FA Cup Double than White Hart Lane, Their final league game of the season was away to their fierce rivals, Tottenham. A win or a goalless draw, and the Gunners would pip Leeds for the title. A 1-0 victory for Arsenal and sent half of north London wild with delight. Five days later Arsenal travelled to Wembley to play Liverpool in the FA Cup final. The match went to extra-iime where a goal from Liverpool's Steve Heighway looked like denying the Gunners their first ever Double. A scrambled effort saw them equalise through Eddie Kelly, and then, deep into extra-time with the scores locked at 1-1, Charlie George sent a thunderous 20-yard drive beyond the reach of Ray Clemence in the Liverpool goal. It sealed a first ‘Double’ for Arsenal. The celebration that followed - George fell to the ground with his arms outstretched above his head - is one of the most rousing images in the history of the Club.

The t-shirt is short sleeve, in a limited edition available for a limited time only, with a fully embroidered crest, is super heavyweight high quality 205gsm cotton (normal t-shirts are 150gsm), fine knit guage, has a collar with lycra to stop it going out of shape, with shoulder to shoulder taping for shape retention and twin needle stitching detail on neck, sleeves and hem.
