A six-pack of resonance control muffling gel. Even the highest quality, best-tuned, drums and percussion instruments can produce unwanted overtones. This amazing product can simply and effectively remove these overtones from your drums by dampening (but not deadening) your drum's natural sound.

The self-adhesive moongel sticks to the surface of drums, cymbals, and most percussion instruments. By simply moving the pad(s) around the surface, you can eliminate any unwanted resonance and obtain the exact sound that your situation demands (for maximum resonance control place two tabs on your drum head at ninety degree angles from one another - for example: one at 12 o'clock and the second at 3 o'clock).

These tabs can be used on either the top or bottom skin of a drum. If it loses its stickiness, simply run the tab under the tap to clean its surfaces and you are back up and running. I've been using the first set of these that I bought for the past eight years. The colours of these tabs may vary from the photo included in this auction but do come in the three different sizes in the photo as different drums require levels of dampening. These tabs can also be cut into other shapes and sizes. The large tabs measure approximately 1.5" in diameter, the medium about 1", and the small 0.5".
