This clarinet tenon cork is the proper thickness of HyTek-Plus cork (1/16in.) for this application. It has been beveled and marked for contact adhesive. Each piece is wide enough to fit any clarinet tenon after trimming to match the width of your needs. This set of four allows you to re-cork your mouthpiece as well. After research and investigation about alternatives to natural sheet cork, Jamie has come up with this. HyTek-Plus is a workable, sand-able and shape-able cork that doesn't smell like burnt rubber. This is not gasket material that is being passed off as "tech cork”.

HyTek-Plus cork is great for tenon and neck corks; key corks and mutes,too! HyTek-Plus cork springs back exceptionally well. HyTek-Plus cork is high density. Compared to other "tech" cork products, it is less likely to allow cork grease to break down the adhesive used to keep your cork in place.
