1979 Original Ludwig Drum set kit w/ dual bass drums

Kept at home - never went on road!

I am the second owner of this set and always kept it in my house. I never got seriously into drumming, so it was minimally used. The first owner also a learner, bought it from a music store and he also never gigged with this set, keeping it in his basement. The music store he bought it from said this set was rented only once and this was to a famous rock group for a Toronto concert in the early 1979.

Basically the set looks like new. No Cracks Or Modifications. Seams Are Perfect. Chrome Is Extra Clean. You can see through the bottoms how thick the wood is. Its age guarantees that you will get the vintage kind of sound. A drum set of this vintage and in this condition is very rare.

We are moving into a smaller house and this one simply will not fit. I hate to let it go, but it does deserve a better home, where it will actually get played the way it was supposed to.

Everything you see is included, except the wooden stool - it is not a proper drum throne anyway. I'll even throw in some 70's Ludwig sticks. I will NOT separate the parts, this sells as a complete set.

Tom 1: 13x13

Tom 4:16x16
Floor Tom: 18x17
Snare: 14x6.5

These drums have the olive and blue badges, and they are the Super Classics as evidenced by the large lugs with 3 small grooves. You can see this in the additional pictures. I believe this kit is 6ply maple.

All drums have serial numbers between 1084707-2013537, thus dating this kit to 1979 as listed on:
